Iberian Barbel

(Barbus comizo) - a species of fish of th e carp family. The southern part of the Iberian Peninsula, in the Tajo river basins, Jarama, Guadiana and Guadalquivir. Live in he rds, near the bottom in places with rough current and a sandy or gravelly substrate. Reaches 20-30 (maximum 40) cm long. Abdomen straight, his neck bulging.
